# How to unstake

### Step 2. Submit a withdrawal request

Select the "Unstake" tab, choose the option to withdraw nETH, and specify the desired amount. Remember that you will not be able to exchange or unstake nETH unless you have previously staked ETH through the NodeDAO platform.

Please check your wallet balance, nETH will be unstaked and burned. If the redemption pool has enough funds, ETH will be sent to your wallet immediately; if the redemption pool does not have enough funds, unstaking will perform an asynchronous withdrawal process, and you can claim the withdrawn ETH for up to 7 days.

The withdrawal process for rnETH is the same.

#### How does the NodeDAO Pool work?

Through its Pool product, NodeDAO operates a network of validators. For every set of 32 ETH deposited by a user, NodeDAO will build a new validator and integrate it into the network. The rewards generated by these validators are distributed to users in proportion to their ETH contribution to the pool.

#### What is the minimum staking amount?

There is no minimum amount required.

#### How do I track my staking reward amounts in the NodeDAO pool?

You can track them from the various operators' platforms.

#### How do I withdraw my deposits and rewards from the NodeDAO pool?

Pre-Shanghai, stakers will find nETH liquidity on the open market. The price of nETH will be determined by stakers' demand to buy nETH against the open market price and yield, and by operators who may take advantage of arbitrage opportunities to reduce their stake in the liquidity pool.

After the Shanghai upgrade, NodeDAO users will be able to redeem their nETH tokens for ETH directly within the platform at a rate proportional to the ETH and nETH supply.

#### Is NodeDAO non-custodial?

Funds are locked in the Ethereum network, and withdrawals are implemented by the liquidstaking contract managed by the DAO.

#### Do I get nETH rewards by staking in NodeDAO?

Currently, there are two ways to add the Filecoin Network to MetaMask:

**Add Liquidity**

When you add liquidity, you are given pool tokens that represent your share of the pool, which earns fees, charged during swap transactions, when you start farming. The fees earned are proportional to the pool size.
